it's SQ's birthday today, so we met the couple at Kovan for dinner, then headed to ICE to celebrate.

I pinned on the black bow while working, as a form of respect to Mr LKY.

Without him, I will not be where I am today. Thank you for spending your whole life building such a beautiful and successful Singapore. You made me very proud to call myself a Singaporean. 

Am not in SG, but really glad that there's Channel News Asia here for me to be updated with what's going on in SG right now, the final farewell of Mr LYK.

Thank you, our founding father. You will be dearly missed. Rest in peace.

easy to do, but tiring luh coz i gave up my offday :(

flew with cheng xi again!

but this time, I just hibernated coz i found Channel News Asia on the TV and wanted to catch the live screening of the Mr LKY's State Funeral...

plus, the bed's to comfy to sleep in!

good morning, from Taipei.

ahhh, one night is just not enough!

if only we can have a longer stay here!

didn't manage to take pics of the hotel ytd night coz i was kinda in a rush to chiong out.

but i managed to this morning :D

this is the lift lobby at my level.

when we look down, it's the restaurant where guests could enjoy their buffet breakfast at.

heard the buffet in our hotel is well known and is quite good.

no doubt when the restaurant's so packed way early in the morning!

ah well, i didn't try the buffet.

mayb some other time.

instead, i went to the 7-11 just across the road to get some cupnoodles home.

back to the hotel.

so excited!

they finally rostered me TAIPEI, like finally!

was standing by the side at the lobby, waiting for the rest and this hotel staff approached me to pick one from the bowl full of mini scrolls.

it's like a 'chou qian' style.

and this is what i got.

hmm... why does it seem like there's hidden meaning. lol.

ok anw, checked in and i think this hotel looks nice :D

loving the toilet bowl with so many functions as if i was in Japan!

took a quick shower, then chiong-ed out.

first stop : Lu Rou Fan.

shared one portion, so we can try more street food later on!
