finally went on a date with the boyfriend now that his exams are over!

after movie, it was time to get some food.

decided to dine at somewhere different.

today, we saw it on the menu, so decided to just give it a try.

tried their Vanilla Souffle with Matcha Sauce.

this is good, but be prepared to wait for abt 20mins to half an hr for it to be ready coz it's freshly baked.

we waited for 20mins to abt half an hr on a weekday, during the non-peak hour.

imagine during the peak-hour (o.O)

bill at the end of the day.

aft which, we walked around town.

zomg, havent been to town for quite awhile, i feel like a foreigner, depending on the boyfriend to bring me around!

met up with sq and leen in the evening.

we played a few rounds of pool at The Cathay, Brunswick.

Rest Day on a Sunday.

back early in the morning, but i was so so tired.

took naps on and off the whole day to make up for lost rest.

went to the boyfriend's place today coz he needed to study for exams.

i'm super pissed with cab drivers.

ytd, the cab driver made a detour and went by the way I wanted and in the end, cost more than usual when i got home.

today, another cab driver took me to 2 wrong destinations before bringing me to where i wanted to go.

i probably should just stick to taking buses and mrts eh?

argh, pissed.

anw, had lunch at Wang Cafe again.

this time, tgt with his ah gong.

aft lunch, i kept the boyfriend company while he study.

today, he's determined to go all out and memorise as much as he could.

me, i kept myself occupied with the laptop the whole day. heh.

tested him when he was ready, aft memorising what he needed.

cabbed home in the night.

arrived in Sg in the morning.

boyfriend was sitting for his exam at 10plus.

by the time i reached home, showered and all, i was only able to sleep for about 15mins before i made my way to SIM to pick the boyfriend up.

today, in my fav colour, simple and comfy #ootd.

we went for lunch at Nex, So Pho.

aft lunch, I took abt a 3 hrs nap and i was really dead beat coz i actually snored!

dinner was at Wang Cafe.

boyfriend wanted to study, but ended up not doing anything productive today.

imma sucha distraction! oopsie! :/

24th Solo : Sin-Bom-Sin (Mumbai Day #2)

welcome to Mumbai.

i'm ready for breakfast buffet! :'>

 the view of the breakfast area that we were gonna be dining in in awhile. the ambience, not bad hor?

met up with Jolin and headed for breakfast first.

first of all, ordered eggs!

we need our eggs!

this is how they serve their eggs, with potatoes.

then because i'm in India, i decided to try some of their local cuisine.

they call this the Poori.

i ordered to try.

omg, i kinda liked it!

ok go back Sg, imma order this!

later on, more of them joined us!

was quite full after a few rounds.

ordered another of their local cuisine to try.

they call this the Paratha.

it's something like Prata, but in it there's some potato filling and it's supposed to be eaten with that yoghurt thingy by the side.

hmm.. that was just so-so. i didnt really fancy it.

shall stick to my Poori. haha.

aft main course, there's always space for fruits.

 and because it's the mango season, i got myself another serving of their mangoes.

went back to the hotel room to nua aft breakfast.

took short naps every now and then while skyping the boyfriend coz i had to prepare for work at night.

really glad wifi was fine there.

for safety reasons, i prefer to stay in the hotel and not wander around outside.

i heard it's the mango season, so i ordered 2 cartons of mangoes from the concierge and all i had to do was to collect it from the concierge hours later.

hehe, convenient :'>

24th Solo : Sin-Bom-Sin (Mumbai Day #1)

heading to Mumbai aka Bombay later.

super pissed when I wanted so much to sleep before work but I just couldnt.

aft 5 over hrs, we finally arrived in Mumbai.

touched down late at night.

they even have like someone like a security guard guarding the door along the corridor :O

I guess, it's for safety and security reasons :O

Itacho // Honeymoon Dessert.

made an ai xin pre-exam booster lunch box for the boyfriend and delivered it to him before he enters the exam hall.

went to do my hair thereafter.

done with my hair earlier than expected, so i walked around town first while waiting for biujie to end work.

ok, i know you cant tell even aft i went for a hair cut.

this always happens 90% of the time :/

met biujie later in the evening for dinner at Itacho.

had dessert later at Honeymoon Dessert.

always eating our usual almond paste when we go to dessert places like these, but this time, we decided to try something different.

we tried the Mixed Fruits Beancurd with Mango Juice.

it is rated 人气, and it caught both of our attention when we were browsing the menu.

hence, we decided to give it a try.

looks good when it was served to us, but when we eat it, OMG IT SUCKS!

the whole combination is just WEIRD.

and it's really difficult to eat coz they only provided us with ONE set of cutlery though obviously, both of us were sharing.

plus, the fruits were all over the bowl and the beancurd with mango juice is filled to the brim.

everything was just so messy and all over the place.

ah well, it's just BAD.

will not will not order that again.

that taught us a lesson: a dish having rated popular doesnt mean it's good.

moving on, we went to get the oven coz biujie drove and she sent me home!

Easter Sunday '14.

it's Easter Sunday and mei invited me for an Easter service at church today.

Sunday service at church.

well, so i joined her friends and her for breakfast, then we attended the service together.

after service, i went Clark Quay to collect my vouchers bought online.

being a tourist, snapping a scenic shot of Sg.

it was really nice of one of her friends to actually drop me straight at Clark Quay, knowing that i was heading there. thanks!
