aft 10 over hours, i'm finally in Copenhagen.
as soon as we touched down at Copenhagen airport, i suddenly thought of the period when mei and i first came here.
omg, this place brings back so so many memories!
well, we were brought to the airport shortly.
ahhh, location of the hotel is BAD.
know why?
just look at this, it is the view from my hotel room.
dangerous constructions going on just outside the hotel!
got even more irritated when i was facing prob with the wifi there.
approached the hotel staff for help and 3 of them took turns to offer their help, but one aft another, they came back to me and replied, 'i dont know'.
argh... pissing much!
i had no other choice, so i sat at the lobby, trying to solve the prob on my own.
aft abt half and hr or so, i finally managed to solve it ON MY OWN!
hurriedly went back to my room to inform the family that i have touched down safely.
after which, took a quick shower and sleep coz i was so so tired from work alr.
later in the afternoon, i met up with 3 of my colleagues for lunch at the shopping mall nearby.
it's walking dist from the hotel.
mrt available just walking dist from our hotel, opp the shopping mall.
they not only have mrt, they also have trains!
these tracks are for trains!
the trains which requires longer travelling time to bring you from one place to another.
the trains that mei and i took when we travelled from Aarhus to Copenhagen the last time we were here!
moving on, I spotted a building with the word 'Neroport' on it.
it sounded so familiar.
i probably had heard of it when mei and i were in Aarhus.
ahhh, brings back memories!
oh, and the yellow buses in Denmark that take us everywhere and anywhere when we were in Aarhus then!
within mins, we arrived at the shopping mall.
headed to the top floor for lunch.
decided to dine at The American Restaurant & Diner coz we spotted the tech crew there.
ordered the Chicken Salad.
it's Marinated Chicken Breast with Crisp Lettuce and Homemade Pesto Dressing.
the portion was huge!
plus, it comes with bread!
very satisfied lunch in my tumtum now ^,^
aft lunch, the rest decided to head back to the hotel but i stayed on to shop for steph's birthday present!
spotted a quote which i found was interesting while exploring the mall :
walked into this shop coz the last time i was in Denmark with mei, i remember we liked this shop!
they sell similar things to what is sold in Paper Market, but at a way cheaper price!
short-listed some items that i wanna buy.
took some pics, then walked back to the hotel to whatsapp the family if they want anything.
yup, that's our hotel.
since i have a clear day tmr, i'll go and get them tmr!
with compliments from the hotel.
it was so cold outside esp with the wind blowing.
perfect time to get a cup of hot milk and some fruits for myself :'>
