Ichiban // Fried Ice Cream

it's my off day today and tmr's the start of my annual leave again.

somehow, not excited at all for my annual leave.

probably coz i just ended one week of it in Sept and now, i'm having another.

too close :/

oh well, i met blove for brunch at Ichiban.

tried some new sushi which we havent seen before.

erm... some were not bad, but some were just weird :/

headed back home and he started his revision.

tests and exams are nearing.

blove's super stressed now.

i tried to keep myself occupied so i won't disturb him.

wanted to bake strawberry cheesecake, but strawberries at NTUC were not nice at all.

gave up on that idea.

chanced upon a recipe on fried ice cream.

simple ingredients, gave it a go with the air-fryer we had at home.

tadah! success! ^,^

Everyone's busy with school.

yay to one full day off today!

but blove's busy with school coz his exams are nearing.

siblings has school too, so no one's free for me.

blove came over our place aft his lesson to study while i took my nap.

well, took this day to catch up on my sleep (z,z)

Hibernating in Melbourne.

call time was early aftnoon, hence, i didn't head out at all.

just stayed in and prepared for work.

touching down past midnight today.

yay to one full free day tmr back in SG!

SBCU 60th Solo : Sin-Mel-Sin

good morning!
it's a morning flight to Melbourne.

ytd's topic abt flying cockroach got into me.

i was preparing for work in the morning, and suddenly i sensed something black flying onto my hand.

i shoo-ed it away, thinking it's some moth.

it landed on the ground nearby and upon closer look, it's a FREAKING COCKROACH!

i inched closer, and it actually started to FLY!

zomg, i freaked out alittle but inside me, i really wanna catch it! >:(

coincidentally, before i decided to sit down and have breakfast, i bumped into it again!

this time, i took a transparent plastic bag and grabbed it in my hand!

wahaha, finally caught it!

yay to 2-ways transport.

touched down in the evening.

only went supermarket to get some food coz most of the shops are closed by tt time.

oh well, time to save money!

spotted horse carriages on our way.

ahhh, these are so common in Australia, but definitely not in SG.

i do wanna try going on one with my loved ones coz it looks so princessy!
don't you agree?

back to hotel soon after.

imma hibernate in my room.

the expression in me when i meet irritating/pissing ppl who piss me off during work.

on a side note, boyfriend's out with his friends today.

at times like these, i'm certain he was enjoying himself :'>

Thai Express at Bukit Panjang Plaza.

it's my off day today.

boyfriend came to find me aft his class and he told me that he'd stay till late tonight so we can go for supper tonight!

i was so excited upon hearing that until i check my standby for tmr.

such a spoiler.

i got activated for Melbourne, morning flight tmr.

as such, boyfriend went back earlier coz i needed to rest :(

oh well, but the power nap was shiok enough to last me.

always able to nap well with him beside me :'>

since we couldn't have supper, we waited for benben to come home, then went for dinner together at Thai Express.

zomg, i'm seeing pimples popping out.

needa stop having spicy food for now!

59th Solo : Sin-Bkk-Sin (Bangkok Turnaround)

it's my first ever BKK turn!

not too bad.

i think i can like this turn.

Siam Kitchen at Nex

yay! it's my off day!

woke to meet blove aft his lesson.

both of us were so so tired!

nevertheless, still needa eat.

we went for lunch at Nex, Siam Kitchen.

ordered one of their Street Favourites to try --- Sesame Prawn Sticks.

i liked it!

Seafood Phad Thai.

and also a green curry to share.

so yummy in our tummy ^,^

in the evening, came home to have dinner with benben at J10 coz mummy has meeting and will be home late.

caught an eps of RM before blove leaves for home while i prepare for my first ever BKK turn tmr.

let it be a fast and good one please!

Grouchy me.

ahhh... i was probably just too too tired from work ytd.

plus, the big big bed with fluffy pillows are just too comfy!

i was so reluctant to wake when my alarm rang!

58th Solo : Sin-Syd-Sin

and aft 10 days of rest, it's back to work.

flying to Sydney.

not a very nice pattern coz when we reached the hotel, it's alr late at night and in Australia, most of the shops closes early.

what's left will be restaurants and supermarkets.

oh well, so i headed to supermarket with some of them aft checking in.

no time to shower and everything.

just changed out and off i went!

got some food for dinner and breakfast tmr.

went back to hotel, showered, eat and slept.

gonna wake early to prepare for flight back!

Last Day of AALV.

today marks the last day of my annual leave.

it's a stay home day coz i have morning flight tmr.

hopefully it'll be a smooth smooth flight with good good colleagues!

something i wish for before every single flight!

it's a sunday and most of us are home except meimei and dad.

so tt leaves with mummy, benben and i.

we made french toast and roti prata for brunch.

ytd drank alittle too much.

i slept quite well. lol.

but i miss my boyfriend alot!

mummy decided to cook dinner tonight.

she cooked soup and rice while benben and i made baked chicken and salmon.

of which, the baked chicken was kinda a failure coz we just mix anything and everything, in hope that it'll turn out fine. lol.

and we know it was a failure coz benben needed the toilet right aft eating 2 of the chicken pieces. oopsie :o

DTF // New Zealand Natural

in need of a hair cut before starting work again.

asked meimei along since she also had intentions to have her hair cut.

that said, this is my 2nd last day of my annual leave.

sigh... why good times pass so fast? 

brought benben for his dental in the morning.

met meimei there.

our appt for hair cut is in the aftnoon.

it was still early, so we decided to go for brunch first.

meimei has been craving for DTF's fried rice and benben has been craving for Saizeriya.

sadly, we only have one stomach.

benben gave in and we settled for brunch at DTF.

as usual, there was a q.

so there we were waiting with our hungry tumtums.

remember our disgusting hair now.

this is before our haircut.

thick and messy.

yay, finally got our seats!

and i finally tried on my falsies ^,~

i ordered a bao and it's funny how it was served.

1 huge long for 1 small bao! lol.

siblings day out ♥

aft brunch, we still had some time, so we went for waffles and ice-cream at New Zealand Natural.

benben has reached his photo-taking limit for the day.

so he becomes our photographer.

ice-cream was melting, so he dug in first while meimei and i were still selfie-ing. lol.

we then ditched benben and went for our hair cut. lol.

aiya, but we got him his fav donuts aft our hair cut hor. haha.

got some donuts from Krispy Creme.

meimei brought them home, while i bought some and brought it for my mahjong kakis. haha.

walked with meimei to the bus stop before splitting.

yay to lighter, neater hair!

i know most of you will say, 'got cut meh?'

coz of work, i cant do much changes to my hair mah!

and i have no courage to cut bob.

so just stay with this.

went to find blove for mahjong session thereafter.

blove got me these coz he knows i needa snack while playing.

hehehe, he sure knows me well! ♡

and tt probably was my last mj session before my leave ends :/

went for dinner together with the mj kakis.

it was late at night aft dinner, so we had no choice but to cab home.

shared cup noodles with benben.

ahhhh, supper food. 

oh no~ 

because blove's at our place, the 3 of us indulge in the bottle of Baileys at home.

lol, it's the 2nd bottle and oopsie, we finished it too :O

felt alittle moody :(

drank alittle too fast and turned red :(

i... feel like... crying :'(

D'Good Cafe // Sunday Folks

met blove aft his class and we went to ICA to do his passport.

met Jocelyn for dinner at Holland Village.

i've been wanting to get the swing-seats at D'Good Cafe.

the first visit to that cafe was when blove brought me.

however, it was so packed we had to sit at the counter :/

this time, i went with Jocelyn, but sadly, the swing-seats were taken.

oh well, but at least now we have proper tables and chairs.

dinner.

oh, and a chance to dine with the bears :D

dessert was at Sunday Folks.

we shared Pistachio Ice-Cream on Stacked Waffles.

never been there, but Jocelyn didn't mind finding the place with me, so we followed google map and thankfully, managed to find our way.

blove was having XLB buffet at Crystal Jade with meng, sq and leen.

met up with him aft that since we were at the same area.

no after dinner plans, so i took a bus home while he shared a cab home with them.

Home Cooked Pasta (failed).

it's a stay home day.

we cooked pasta.

sauce was kinda a failure :(

losing blood makes me tired and boyfriend doesn't want me to travel around too much coz i'd be tired, so he made his way to our house and keep me company ^,^

unhappy in the day, but catching 2 eps of RM got me happier.

i miss the boyfriend and sigh... i'm alr not looking forward to starting work :/

Inner Harmony // Createaf Waffles

met meimei at town.

went for facial at Cathay, Inner Harmony.

brought meimei along coz i had a voucher to use.

time for some pampering on me face ^,^

i'm loving facials.

aft facial, we tried Createaf Waffles coz i read blog reviews about it, but was quite a disappointment.

it has been awhile since i went out with meimei ♥

we ordered Merry Berry with a scoop of Macadamia Nut ice-cream.

not enjoying our waffles at all :[

not as good as i expected.

caught up over soup spoon.

bitching about the one. lol.

went bugis to shop thereafter.

so long since we last went shopping tgt, but sadly, no gains.

went back for dinner with benben at macs.

Gemini Theatre.

met the boyfriend at town.

he wanted to bring me to try the dim sum at Imperial Treasure but the restaurant was full.

had to wait for abt half an hr, so we gave it a miss.

went for dim sum at GWC, Crystal Jade instead.

the staff actually told us there's no further discount for Gemini Theatres.

went in then realised Gemini Theatre is actually a cinema with couple seatings only!

paid so much more, must take selfie!

wts, idm just watching the movie in a normal theatre leh.

weekdays pay this kinda pricing really not worth.

felt alittle cheated.

but we took it as a new movie experience.

still enjoyed the movie!
