57th Solo : Sin-Dme-Iah-Sin (Moscow Day #5)

it's a clear day here in Moscow.

decided to visit the flea market with Bobby, Elwy and Adinda.

we took the hotel shuttle to the flea market.

there we were.

it's the exact same flea market that i went during winter, just that now, we have to pay entrance fee .-.

and that there're more people and more stalls were opened.

didn't buy much coz most of the stalls sell the same things!

mainly russian dolls.

fur hats.

and hand painted souvenirs.

this is one lane of the flea market.

spotted people selling stuff on a trolley.

this is another part of the flea market.

looks quite pretty when the sun shines brightly on it.
looked like a ship.

and this scared me alittle when i walked past it.

it's literally the whole piece of fur off a wild boar/bear!

it was still cold few days back, but today, it's surprisingly warm.

i don't even need my jacket!

this section of the flea market, i havent been.

walked on further, realised things sold are pretty much similar.

spotted another guy selling things on his trolley.

i found that too be too cute, coz the trolley was really small.
smaller than the ones we have at the NTUC in SG!

spotted this stall from afar and was so curious to see what they were selling.

upon closer look, omg!

too scarry!

every furry, with the heads of the animals!

and this, i was telling myself if this thing every move, it would have freaked me out so badly!

wondering around the flea market while waiting for the rest to be done!

i thought to myself, Moscow's quite nice.
coz i don't see any cats since i touched down till now.

so jinx.

coz when i turned my back, i spotted 2 kittens.

though they are really tiny, but i was still afraid of them! :s

saw the prints on the t-shirt, got reminded of me boyfriend! lol.

turned my back again and i spotted another!
this time, a cat!

omg so daring, it just went up to the table top of one of the stalls that wasn't attended by anyone.

found a comfortable space and just nua.
whuuuuuuut!?

well well, i zoom-ed in to capture a pic of it.
too afraid to go close.

at the end of the day, only bought a magnet from the flea market.

we waited for the shuttle to bring us back to the hotel.

deposited our stuff in our rooms before taking the shuttle bus again, to Pushkin Square.

well, we wanted to go Red Square and were told it's walkable distance from Pushkin Square, so Elwy and I believed.

when we arrived at Pushkin Square and was finding our way to Red Square, it's freakin far pleaseeeeeeeee!

mayb coz it's a weekend, there was a crowd too.

we got out of the train station and realised some roads were closed.

we had to q to get in!

that's the entry points behind us.

had to get our bags checked and walk through that security scanner before being allowed to get in.

there seem to be some event going on.

googled and omg, it's Moscow City Day!

we were lucky to witness it.

it's Moscow's 867th birthday!

no wonder the crowd on this day!

this caught my attention.

they're selling food!

grilling sausages.

and frying rice out in the open!

and the music drew us over.

there was a performance.

they sang and dance while including the kids!

feeling the hype!

vid on my insta, @ngelayne

this is the construction of a new hotel coming up, but the cover-up is so pretty!

we see this everywhere along the street coz it's Moscow's 867th birthday!

my company for the day!

no idea what they were doing and what the red strings represent, but there's a lady who was going around giving out red strings.

while walking, we spotted a few ponies!

omg so adorable!
are those their pets!?

this is probably one of our best finds!

a dining table and chairs meant for giants!
everything upsized!

it's tea time!

just sipping tea off my huge tea-cup while seated on my really huge chair!

eating cereal off my huge bowl and spoon!

the kind of chair where i had to climb up tediously to get to my seat.

at my gigantic table!

that's the size of the tea-cup in comparison to my face! lol.

ok, last sip before i go.
bye! :D

no idea what building is this, but it looks pretty.

Elwy was hungry, so we went to look for some finger food.

spotted a stall selling breads and such.

freshly baked!

selling cakes too.

another chef frying rice in the open!

then we saw people giving out chocolates!

being tourists, we went forward.

but hmm... don't look so fierce la.. we only wanted the chocolates :o

ok, thank you ^,^

collecting this along the way coz we see them almost everywhere!

live performance, but not very nice.
not my kind of music :/

another food trail!

selling breads again.
but i thought the hanging pretzels look cute. haha.

literally, pig.

special day, so they have the colours of Russia Flag just outside Red Square.

got what we needed from Red Square.

now, in search for Starbucks coz Elwy wanna get the tumbler!

hello mickey, on our way :D

had to tap onto wifi and dl a pic of the Starbucks logo coz no one seem to understand us when we asked in English!

finally, aft so long, we managed to bump into someone who speaks English coz she has relative or friends who stays in SG!

so so glad!
she was with her mum and sis and they were really kind to actually bring us there!

ok, now we know we couldn't find Starbucks coz Starbucks is not spelled S-t-a-r-b-u-c-k-s in Moscow!

finally got the tumbler that she wanted.

ahhhh.... so tempting to buy one for myself.

but at home no space alr leh.
and i'm afraid if i start buying one, i'll keep on buying when i go other countries.

ahhhh, shall not for now!

otw back, i dropped by macs to check out the happy meal toys.

they only have one today.

decided to just get it!

ok, now i only have coins left. lol.

time to hibernate and pack my stuff.

as usual, packed to the brim!

cant wait coz we're checking out tmr!

oh, and it's Cayden's 7th birthday today.

sighness... missed it due to work.

received pics while i'm away.

looks fun!

little Jayden all dressed for the party!

there he goes, out on the field!

birthday boy, giving his best shot!

the girls, taking part in the game too!

birthday boy and his cake!

happy birthday Cayden!

wow, i see that 4yi made some improvement!
