i'm really excited today coz i'm finally meeting my boyfriend!!!!!! ♡♡

hehehe, i have missed him so much! ♡

hung out with him in the day, then headed to mummy's birthday dinner at Momiji Japanese Restaurant with the big family!

suggested this place coz the relatives love oysters and they're having Oyster Festival this period!

finally back to celebrate mummy's birthday.

though it's belated, but hope you still enjoyed dinner anws!

i look quite unglam here, but i just had to post this coz the boyfriend's expression is just too funnnnnnny! LOL!

now, about the buffet at the restaurant, first impression was wonderful, the buffet spread and all.

wide variety of sushi.

cold selection.

fresh sashimi, oysters, prawns and snow crab legs.

for dessert, there's also quite a wide variety ranging from fruits, cakes, mochi, biscuits and Haagen-Dazs ice-cream!

yes, Haagen-Dazs ice-cream was the highlight!

so yumz!

from 6.30pm-7.30pm, there's free flow beer!

that was also another highlight of the buffet, but sadly, not all of us arrived at the same time.

for free flow beer, you actually have to show your receipt to the staff at the counter and they will give you the number of bottles according to how many adults you have at your table. we probably have abt 12 adults.

since not all of us arrived at the same time, we wanted to just get 2 first, but the staff insisted that we have to 'redeem' all 12. like whut!? it doesnt make sense!

sigh sigh... such a turn-off.

we just dont understand!

they claim that it's free flow, but we still have to produce our receipt to 'redeem' our free beer?

on top of that, when the crowd starts to come in, the wonderful impression that we got of the restaurant totally fell to rock bottom coz we were having a buffet, but the staff did not/duper slow in replenishing! what's a buffet when the buffet line is empty?!

initially, we told ourselves we will go back again.

when we realised they didn't replenish at all, we told ourselves, we are not coming back here again! *angst*

aft dinner, we waited for cab home.
