27th Solo : Sin-Ngo-Sin (Nagoya day #1)

touched down at Nagoya.

slept for awhile before heading out with the girls!

greetings from Nagoya :'>

because this hotel doesnt provide free wifi in the room :(
so i hurriedly prepared and headed down to the lounge for free wifi!

was down with flu :(

both side of my ears were blocked.
like totally blocked.

got myself a hot drink at the lounge, but doesnt seem to really help.

mins later, one of the staff came in to replenish the items at the coffee machine.

aha, i thought their uniform was quite cute.
don't you agree? hehe :]

then it was time, so i made my way to meet the girls at the lobby!

so thankful for Mikako who brought us around!

this is their usual taxi in Japan.
look so atas right!

the underpass to the mrt.

their bus stops.

Mikako brought us to a park which she claims that couples like to go.

the Central Park.
aww~ just look at the heart shape planted there!

they have live performances going on at the stage near the entrance of the Central Park.

Mikako told us local couples like to visit this park, as well as to go up to the Nagoya TV Tower, which can be viewed from afar while we were still walking!

approaching the tower, we heard some singing.

walked closer and saw a group of students performing!
it's their children's day ytd and also part of the Golden Week.

probably tt's why it's more crowed and happening on the street today!

the Japanese are so cute! they actually go follow the actions of the performing group and did the actions with them, together!

oh oh, and if you're wondering what's Golden Week in Japan, click on the link and you'll find out (:

the Nagoya TV Tower require us to pay for entrance fee or something like that, so we gave it a skip.

after which, we spotted a fountain.
wanted to get some food to share before dinner!

so glad to have found a food corner!

Mikako ordered Chicken Karaage for us to share! ^,^

the youngest one, of us three.

snacking on our chicken karaage with Mikako!

as we were about to finish the chicken Karaage, Mikako went to order something else!

oh well, so we tried to take a selfie coz we can even see the Nagoya TV Tower from where we were seated!

with our yummy Chicken Karaage ^,^

both pics from selfie didnt really worked out coz the tip of the Nagoya TV Tower was blocked.

here's a clearer view of it!

soon after, Mikako finally came back!

this time, she ordered some noodles!

wind was really strong.

we went off immediately aft we finish our food coz we dont want the wind to blow off our cutleries and such!

this is the front view of the fountain.
quite pretty (=

on our way out, we spotted Soba Noodles mascot!
kawaii neh! ^,~

now, off to shop!

roads of Nagoya.

while walking along the street, Mikako told us FrancFranc is a Japan brand, so we decided to head in and see if we could get anything from there!

another reminder, look!
it's the golden week and so they have sales going on everywhere!

look what we spotted in FrancFranc.

if you look closely, there're words on the tea spoons!

these silver ones state 'love your smile'.

and these gold ones state 'love is life'.

two storeys of FrancFranc.

otw up!

mirror mirror on the wall~
heh, couldnt resist!

isnt it pretty?

idea eh, for my future home!

aft FrancFranc, it's back to the streets.
at the cross junction.

roads of Nagoya.

cute post-boxes along the street!

vending machines everywhere in Japan!

pics with my shopping kaki (=

on our way back, we stopped by for dinner at Yomenya Goemon.

they have outlets in Singapore, but it's ok, i'm glad i get to try the authentic one coz i'm in Japan!

i guess it's quite exp, so it's not well-liked by the locals.
the whole restaurant was quite empty.

while waiting for our food!

they actually have something like a base-plate for us to place our main course when it's served.

I ordered the Shrimp, Avocado and Fresh Herb with Genovese Sauce.

happy with my meal ^,^

popped by the convenience store coz we were too lazy to walk to the supermarket located further away in the cold cold weather!

view of the exterior of the hotel in the evening.

and because they do not have free wifi in the room, i made my way to the lounge as soon as i deposited my loots in the room and spent most of my time there. hehe.
